meet the expert

Rachelle Pinto

I have been working as an international tax advisor for Expatriate and Swiss individuals for 14 years, with Deloitte (2004) and Ernst & Young (2008). I have started my career with helping individuals to better understand and comply with their Swiss tax and social security obligations. I have reviewed, completed, and estimated Swiss tax formalities and liabilities for thousands of expatriates from more than 50 different nationalities. In 2010, I experienced myself the life of an expatriate to the US for 18 months. I know that integrating a new work environment, a new culture, new dos and don’ts and new habits is a struggle when everything happens at the same time. When you arrive in a new country, you immediately want to give your best at work and your mind needs to be cleared from any administrative burden.

Back in Switzerland in 2012, I took on new responsibilities in managing global expatriate programs with HR clients employing more than 300’000 people and dealing with +2000 expatriates. The past few years, I was on track to become an EY partner. Going through the selection process, I realized that the more responsibilities I took, the more I moved away from what I love about my job: helping people

Mission

Work with T-PATHS and you will always know where you are at and what are the next steps. I trace the paths to easy solutions.
